Early IMBLOC and My Snow Circle

This Morning, the first day of February we were graced here in Charlotte NC with a dusting of Snow, so here are some winter pics of my circle and a daffadil that bloomed because of the unseasonal weather we have been having,, it has been warmer than usual. February has always been an odd month for me, and the name itself stems from the latin Februum which means PURIFICATION which I can relate to as I am doing some early 'spring cleaning' of the house. In Finnish the month is called helmikuu, meaning "month of the pearl" I like that name as I am looking for the Pearl of Life.
Purifications will be performed this weekend as it is Imbloc, a sacred day for us pagans. Imbloc or Imblog is sacred to Brigid, the waiting bride of springs Sun God. She is patroness of creative inspiration at this time, which is the vibration I wish to tap into now. The French version of Brigid is St.BLAIZE whom conjours the image of Fire and hearth which is a prominent feature of my planned ritual for Saturday here at home. I plan on doing ritual cleansings of the home as this is hearth time, which I warmed up for this week with my first fire in my fireplace. My rituals will continue with the theme that my magickal friends and I started the year off with by CUTTING OLD CORDS that bind, and connecting to the REALSELF that used to hide behind the masks of modern living. This is Deep Magick at it's best, bringing forth aspects of the SHADOW which sometimes can hinder one in transformational growth and self actualization. I have been working hard on this theme for the past year which most regular readers of this blog might remember using Transformational magick to bring forth the Higher Vibrations needed to CHANGE THE UNIVERSE.
