IMBLOC , the GroundHog and Me.

Today is a day that pagans will be doing many rituals around their hearth and homes. It is Imbloc, midwinter point, Candlemas and Groundhog's day all rolled into one. Today is sacred to Brighid who will be honored around the hearth on many a pagan home with corndollies and other symbols of this time. I will light a special fire in the fireplace when I return from ritual tonight. The light in the home shines out to announce spring is coming soon.

It has been a strange couple of weeks, and as you can tell I have not been online at all. Dealing with my NEW WORLD that I have created. But here are some highlights. I have reconnected to myself in a wonderful way. Still have a lot of work to do, but overall I am happy with my progress and looking forward to more improvement in my life. Work is coming along very well at the Veterinary Clinic I started at a while back. The roomies are adjusting, and I am trying to be OK with having people in my home again,,, my hermit days are over it looks like.
I have to tell you all about what happened yesterday. I get home and open the mail. You know how advertisements and stuff are always overload and I suffled through ads and bills and decided to open one from a car dealership. (My old Bessie is running tired) It was an ad for a Sale plus it had a ScratchOff GameCard that was for the grand prize of $20,000 or a New Town and Country car. I looked at it, flipped it over to look at the Odds, 1:350,000. That really is not a bad odd I thought so I scratched off the squares to reveal the symbols underneath. You had to get Three Like symbols. I counted, one, two, three, Car Symbols. I read the fine print again, and again. Yep, the person with 3 like symbols could win, $50.00, gas, a car or $20,000. I looked again, and I had three symbols shaped like a car. Again I flip the card over, read the fine print: GRAND PRIZE WINNER HAS CHOICE $20,000 or the TOWN/COUNTRY Car!! I told my roommate James to look at it. "Dude, you won."
Me , the consumate cynic, reads the fine print again. Yep, looks like I won.
So, I was trying to be calm and cool so I call the dealership.
Yep I won, but the contest ended last night 9:00pm. I was a day late.
I started laughing so hard, "The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away"
It proved to me that yes, I can create ANY REALITY I WANT. As I have said for a good while that I was going to win the lottery or some similar game of chance by the action of "CHANGING THE UNIVERSE" ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well I did.
and as usual, I am a day late. The irony might only seem humorous to me,, some friends have said "Better to laugh than cry" I think it is My SELF telling me a big lesson.
That same night, my friend White Crow called to tell me that one of the Llama is very sick. In my mind and heart, I know that I would rather see DERF the Llama well, than have the $20,000. So which will this Universe get? As I have stated before, when I do my ''magick'' I know that it effects EVERYTHING. So, this was a big wake up call to me, and believe it or not, a very expensive laugh.
