My Birthday Next Friday
The 22nd is my birthday, I will be 43 freakin years old!
Somedays I feel 143 yrs old, others 18 and growing younger, which I wish was the trend lately, but has not been. MidLife Crisis, I started mine around 36 and you would think that it would be over by now, but it hasn't ended, just seems to be gearing up honestly and sometimes I don't think I can take much more, but do, somehow.
My Friend Beth, the Veterinarian and I finally caught back up with each other last week and knowing I have NO MONEY, she took me out to eat at a cool Indian Restaurant, (Im vegetarian) For my birthday she is taking me to the Mountains to get me away for the weekend. We are going to go camping with a bunch of TransformUs and Mysteria people who are doing a Burn near Ashville. A burn, as in the Burning Man of lore that is in Nevada desert each year, I can't wait. I need this bad, the out to be a Radical Faerie with a group of Like minded souls. It is a non vendor type event, meaning no one can sell anything and the theme is like the Native American Give-Away, so being the anti-capitalist that I am, will feel at home. I have a bunch of stuff I am taking with me as Gifts to New Friends I meet, and for the Gift Tree. The picture above was from one of the work/prep weekends, it is in a place called Deerfield, looks Beautiful!!!
I have always wanted to do a "BURN" , Beth went last year to Nevada and had a blast, so I will be loosing my virginity at this Burn!! I need to socialize with the offbeat and fringe society that I inhabit in my mind, so Thank you Beth!!!!

I've heard about this burning man stuff from pagan friends mostly... I also heard baout it on the simpsons! It sounds so intriguing.

BIZARRE .... actually not bizarre, considering both of our psychic natures ... in the first pst to you today, I mentioned the dream I had about this cottage that keeps jumping into my dreamscape .... and low and behold ...the "feeling" of this photo is so similar to the feeling of my dream. The feeling of the beauty of potential.
I am so thankful for people like you in my life.

The photo was taken in the mountains of NC near Brevard in a small place called Deerfields.. I love this area of the US more than just about any other place and If I could have my 'dream' it would be a cabin near here. The people who own it are really cool, it is were I went on my birthday to the Burning Man event.
I am very thankful to have found you too my dear friend, hope to know you better and for a long long time to come.
