KIND KUTSI actually have written a number of post that I have decided not to post because of the negativity that seemed to underline each one, mainly because of a betrayal of friendship by Kimberly the "Wicked" witch I allowed to move in back in Jan. Sometimes it takes me a long while to realize that not all people are worthy of the belief in human goodness, because some are just evil. Honestly I don't say that lightly.
Without going into all the details, I will just say that having someone you trust betray you and steal from the home you opened up to them is one of the worst things to happen to anyone who thinks people are basically good. My outlook on humans is evolving into something new.
Family issues have also consumed my summer. Along with a very hectic work schedule. And then.............
The local POWER Company.
They left a nice little brochure on my door,,, called the "Kindest Cut".
What bull, they came in and raped and pillaged my yard into an unrecognizable mess that I still have not recovered from yet. Supposedly for the powerlines,, they cut and cut ALL, and I mean ALL of the shade that once was the nicest part of my yard.
I used to be able to leave the dogs out in lower 90 degree weather because all the shade kept the back yard a more comfortable temp. and then after the KINDEST CUT,, there is no shade over the dog lot any more,, nor much of any of the backyard.
So, I just want to return to my blog and my blogging friends who I really miss. I had to start somewhere, so this quick post will get some of my bitching out of the way so I can post more quality type writings instead of crying over my cut down trees and back stabbing old friend.

one of the things I have found out about "humanity" is that when we have expectations of others, we set ourselves up for disappointment. One might find it useful to view your attempt to help some one like you (or me) as
misguided. Not trying to hurt you, but the realization that from the outset your expecations of a "evil person" were unrealistic at best. There are people who are worthy of your beneficence, jsut not the wicked witch. Best Wishes
Oh, Scott, I am so sorry to hear of this misfortune. Stealing from one's home is the worst ever, and I do believe in karma so evil K will get hers. It's hard to know when people are going to take advantage until they do. I just don't understand how some people live with themselves, let alone others. My heart, prayers, thoughts, karma, etc. are with you always. No one can steal that.
Damned power company, maiming your yard for power. Ugh.
You are resilient, and will fully recover from all this, I know.

I hope a tree branch falls on that wicked witch.... speaking of trimming trees .
I have a tree in the front of my house, I really should cut it down as it is slowly dieing.... but I can not..... arghhhhhhh. Each year I vow to chop it down... and each year ilose my nerve as I feel that she is vey much alive... even though ailing... :)
