Let the Sun Shine!

Good Morning, Afternoon, Night to All!!

This morning, I got up and took my roomie James to work, (still has not got a car) and the Sun was rising over the horizon to the Song

Blinded by the Light
Manfred Manns Earth Band
- words and music by Bruce Springsteen
- Manfred Manns Earth Band version (Warner 8252) was released August 1976
and reached #1 in early 1977.

Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night

Madman drummers bummers, Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder, feelin kinda older, I tripped the merry-go-round
With this very unpleasin, sneezin and wheezin, the calliope crashed to the ground
The calliope crashed to the ground

But she was…
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night

Some silicone sister with a manager mister told me I go what it takes
She said Ill turn you on sonny to something strong, play the song with the funky break
And go-cart Mozart was checkin out the weather chart to see if it was safe outside
And little Early-Pearly came by in his curly-wurly and asked me if I needed a ride
Asked me if I needed a ride

But she was…
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light

She got down but she never got tired
Shes gonna make it through the night
Shes gonna make it through the night

------ guitar solo ------

But mama, thats where the fun is
But mama, thats where the fun is
Mama always told me not to look into the eyes of the sun
But mama, thats where the fun is

Some brimstone baritone anticyclone rolling stone preacher from the east
Says, Dethrone the dictaphone, hit it in its funny bone, thats where they expect it least
And some new-mown chaperone was standin in the corner, watching the young girls dance
And some fresh-sown moonstone was messin with his frozen zone, reminding him of romance
The calliope crashed to the ground

But she was…
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night
Blinded by the light, revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night

Not So Strange....But last night as I was riding down the road watching the sun set this song came on the radio:

ARTIST: Billy Thorpe
TITLE: Children of the Sun
Lyrics and Chords

People of the earth can you hear me
Came a voice from the sky on that magical night
And in the colors of a thousand sunsets
They traveled to the world on a silvery light

The people of the earth stood waiting
Watching as the ships came one by one
Setting fire to the sky as they landed
Carrying to the world children of the sun, children of the sun

All at once came a sound from the inside
Then a beam made of light hit the ground
Everyone felt the sound of their heartbeat
Every man, every woman, every child

They passed the limits of imagination
Through the door to the world of another time
And on the journey of a thousand lifetimes
With the children of the sun, they started to climb

Children of the sun, children of the sun

No more gravity, nothing holding them down
Floating endlessly, as their ship leaves the ground
Through the walls of time, at the speed of light
Fly the crystal ships on their celestial flight, on their celestial flight

Children of the sun, children of the sun...

I have been doing alot of Sun Meditations lately.
ALOT.
If anyone knows who Dan Winter is,, I know I have mentioned him before, ,,, squirting yourself through the sun is paramount to his philosophies of life in this post modern world. (Click here to see his note dedicated to my friend Bette when we had the Gilgamesh Society a number of years ago) Anyway,, these meditations are taking a strange turn, and the Synchronicity of the songs most likely was the 'Higher Self' singing downstream to me. So the message of the day.
Go stand in the SUN.
Transformation is afoot and to grow properly we must have (magnetically charged spring) water and Sunshine Rays, proper Understanding and Love.
So go and recharge those batteries in the Sun.

The sun has a lot of energy. I always feel better after I sit in it for awhile. Just make sure you don't over do. It can cause nasty burns and something we don't want..Sun cancer..I have high blood pressure so I can't stand the heat for long, but to make up for it I will sit in a spot on the patio where the sun has warmed the bricks. Ahhh such delight and relaxtion.
Nice Post.
