LEARN TO LIVE

I am sitting here listening to some classical music, watching the leaves blow off of the trees in the first ‘real’ day that feels like autumn. It is cloudy and the wind is blowing the clean up the last vestiges of the summer. I am waiting on Heather one of my dear pagan friends who is giving me a ride to Fox’s memorial service. We talked early today about the ‘energy’ that is so prevalent in everyone’s life at the moment. It is taking us all by the scruff of the neck and shaking us to the bones. The time of the thinning of the Veil is so evident everywhere in the world. This time of year yields to the world of Spirit and the Veil opens so that we know a connection to the Unseen world. It is a time to honor those past, the ancestors and all life that has gone before us in this physical realm.

Not long ago, over 30,000 people vanished off of the face of the earth, as She shook and rattled about the Pakistan/ India border. The after effects of Katrina/ Rita and now Wilma are hitting the south heavily. The Senseless War has now killed over 2000 young American Souls who will not see the sunrise tomorrow. People everywhere are seeing the transient nature of things being brought to the forefront of consciousness. Tonight I will say goodbye to a dear friend, knowing that he is giving us all a big lesson.

The Lesson is we have got to learn to LIVE.

Sounds so simple, but as most of us know, it is not such an easy task, to be grateful when life seems to be using us as personal punching bags. The more that I come to terms with the dark, sad facts of life, the more I am pushed towards gratitude about LIFE. The movement of our lives, as they intertwine and go separate ways is like a web. The fine threads resemble a spider’s web, with like fibers of souls connected and reconnecting to show us that we are all so very much related. Our souls cry out with the pain of sorrow for events that really scream LIVE!!! We so need to learn to live this life, no matter the pain we must cherish each moment, each minute that we breathe, we must give thanks,, if not to a deity, to our parents, and their parents,,, for our sacred LIVES.

I used to take so much for granted, now even with all of my troubles, I am screaming back to the Universe, I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO LIVE!!! I want to learn to just BE, especially in the MOMENT, for that is all we are promised.

LIVE LONG & PROSPER!! And remember Peace is Every Step.

As I write this, the sun is peeking through the clouds, before it’s setting, and my ‘babies’ are curled at my feet. I look at the blue sky and smile, It is All GOOD.

I Live.

As one day closes, another begins,
As one season fades, another blossoms.
The cycle is endless, eternal;
and each moment that we breathe,
is precious.

Peace, and Harmony.

So sorry you're going through such a rough time Scott, but you are still finding the beauty of life and that is admirable. I wish peace for you and your friend who has passed on, and for his family.
